If I am qualified, what are my chances of getting selected?

The process is rather straightforward and candidates will likely find it quite easy. If you have any questions about how to apply, where and when job applications are accepted, etc., then do not hesitate to contact WAPDA’s human resources department directly.

You can reach them via telephone at: 042-99207701 or send an email to: recruitment@wapda.gov.pk .

Someone will be happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have regarding applying for a job with WAPDA (Water & Power Development Authority). Simply ask! Communication is key! The more information both parties are armed with, the better! Keep your head up and chin up – good luck!

Can I contact someone directly if I have questions about the process?

Yes, every advertisement has a phone number or email address that you can use to reach someone if you have specific questions. Generally speaking, we do not give out contact information on our website; however, at WAPDA it is likely that someone will respond within 1-2 days and it could be sooner depending on your question.

If you cannot find an email or phone number for a particular post/advertisement, then there is no way to contact anyone directly.

Always use either email or phone when possible so people are able to respond back quickly. Do not bother messaging them through Facebook as chances are they won’t see it because most of these administrators don’t have Facebook accounts.

When will the final list be published?

With such a large number of candidates applying every year, it’s hard to make all of them happy. Due to increasing complaints by people who didn’t even get shortlisted or passed, especially those from rural areas, a lot of extra questions about the process were raised by experts.

In order to address these concerns and curb unnecessary grievances, WAPDA decided that it would publish its final list at least two weeks after declaring its merit list. This means you have almost two months in which you can keep yourself informed about your status and protest against any injustices if they do occur.
